This is definitely Coyote Country. We in Montana pronounce the word "Ki-yot" with a long O and no E sound at the end. It must be derived from the way the old fur trappers spoke. A long driving day today, heading straight form hoeing, Arizona. We drove through the Sonoran Desert first and the into the Mojave Desert. The scenery was, as expected, somewhat desert-like! A lot of brown land with a lot of desert plants, a few wind farms and several casino oases which are owned by the native Indian owners of the land.
