      Last night was A's birthday, part of the reason for this whole trip. We partied in true Kenya style, dancing on the beach with the local community at a beach shack down the shore from the resort. I loved watching the kids move with amazing rhythm and style, and gradually winning over their trust until we were dancing together. A pumping soundtrack jumped from Kenyan hip hop to Beyoncé to Bollywood, and the dancing was just as varied! Drummers ...

      ... adapted to the situation and in order to make some money out of the tourists you have to know Italian since the Italians do not want to speak English or Swahili.

      I stayed at Tiki guesthouse in the middle of the village which was nice because I like this kind of stuff. Just waking up and walking through the streets looking for some snacks. It is cheap and you support the people who really need it.

      Number 1788 was well upfront until Mikey decided to take a shortcut to bypass her but unfortunately cycling in the sand is a nightmare. He lost its balance in the curve fell down on the side and directly over... Nathalie&Cie!
      So in front of 20 locals and the hotel security Number 1788 was flat on her back crushed by Henry and the trainer mounted on its bicycle!

      Brows furrowed, our meals arrived and we were off.
      Nick was our secret weapon here; and with no football questions, we did good.
      But the level of angst around us was obvious and as papers were exchanged to be marked. Such euphoria as they were found to be right on the question they had been a little wobbly on. “Well done, Rory! Good man!” Quite so.
