... was man im Neudeutschen ja auch als "Homestay" bezeichnet. Insbesondere wurde ich alter Atheist auch am Sonntag mit in die Kirche genommen. Da es auf Samoa mehr unterschiedliche christliche Glaubensrichtungen als Einwohner zu geben scheint, muss an dieser Stelle der Zusatz folgen, dass es sich um eine katholische Kirche handelte. Dem auf Samoanisch gehaltenen Gottesdienst konnte ich nur bedingt folgen, dafür waren die Gesänge ganz nett anzuhören.

Besides going for the occasional walk, we just chilled out, read books, waded in the surf, huddled in the shade, ate... There may have been more, but those bits of my brain melted away... Sorry!
