    ... how far it is, I have google maps! Then they give in with a face like a slapped ****! Me smug as ever because I proved someone wrong! Haha. In the end the journey cost us 20,000 (£1) by meter. Bloody rip offs they are! The hotel seems nice, there's a pool that's in the sunshine and the room was clean and modern, alright for £7 a night!     ... women who work in the markets are very pushy. They see you coming from down the road and divert you to their stall. Unfortunately the **** they are selling is the same at each stall. And they start at very high prices. I can't be bothered a lot of the time, and we have become very good at saying NO!

    ... because they can be seen climbing on the nearby shops. There were lots of babies around when I visited which led to some very cute photo opportunities. But be warned! Don't get too close! I saw at least three tourists being bitten by monkeys in the first ten minutes. There is evidence that monkeys are genetically closely related to Luis Suarez.

    ... fine. A couple of large Bintang beers, a steak sandwich and chicken satay, sat at a table on the beach as close to the sea as we could possibly get. All for less than a tenner, including a large bottle of water to take home with us. I could get used to this! Talking of which, Kirsty said she is properly relaxed being here. Ermm, so tomorrow we up sticks to head somewhere else.... PS: August 17th, Independence day in Indonesia, flags are awaving everywhere. ...
