Try the streetfood around, the fried noodles or noodle soups (15 RMB) are great, especially if you top it up with a fresh mango from one of the fruit shops afterwards. If you ask it will be cut for you in a easy to eat way without taking it apart, yummy!
They also let you try pieces of all those fruits you never dared to buy before cause you didnt know which part is eatable. Give it a go, you will be surprised one way or the other...

We visited Nanshan Cultural Park. It was built in 1988 commemorating 2000 years of Buddhism in China. The main feature of the park is the recently completed, the bronze statue of Guan Yin Buddha, which stands 108 meters tall (about 354 feet), on a man made island on the coast of the South Sea, just off Nanshan. It's larger than the statue of liberty. It is currently the fourth largest statue in the world.
