The breeze was picking up so we decided to go explore, more staring and photos taken of us we headed towards a fun fair, with a bungee ball, kids train and other things, it looked fun but not so safe. This island is where the chinese go on holiday so they all seem much more care free here, so much so that they will come up to your face and stand and stare at you, des had the privelege of this wonderful experience.       Another short night, breakfast is until 9.00am so went downstairs at 8.30. Unfortunately breakfast wasn't very satisfying. They only had noodles, eggs and a dry sort of bread. We all ate something, but will definitely have early lunch.

      Beach day today! We took a taxi to Sanya bay. Which a bit of a strange beach. There are no stalls at all and you don't really see people swimming and people just stare at us. We've seen people walking ...

      ... is getting us tired a bit already! Quite hard to get a taxi with 4 people and backpacks. Turns out that all taxis in Haikou have this gas tank in the back of the car, so you barely have any space in the boot to put your bags in. After the taxi driver helping us, we finally got them all in. Now trying to buy train tickets to Sanya, all signs are in Chinese and there is no sign of any English speaking people.       ... Clíona, Des and Cian would stand in the queue's for the cashier desks. Yay, Ticket machine had English instructions! Just one problem, we don't have Chinese ID cards... (They want to see your passport for everything here) Back to the cashier queue we went. Haha! Got our tickets fine and time to go through security now, we are not sure if they really checked our bags as you aren't allowed to have liquids with you, but Miriam had a bottle of water in her bag. ...
