We all met at the Ft. Myers Airport at 1:30PM. Everyone was excited and some of the students were a little nervous! After checking in our baggage, we took a few photos and headed to security. We made it through and waved good bye to our families. We boarded the plane and were on our way! Skylar did a great job for a first time flyer! In Atlanta, we took the underground train to ...

After coffee and donuts we left to see the Everglades which we had passed last night, so needed to travel back 30 miles to Everglades City. ... Knowing of our long day ahead of us and our travel day, a shower sounded like a great idea. We walked through the doors and were met by "the shower ladies", as they affectionately call themselves, who brought us fluffy white towels, and supplied Molton Brown products. This is quite the way to travel. Barry went to get our carry on items that we placed in a locker while we had gone for our walk earlier and upon his return, it was clear he had "an ...

Here are the photos from the sand sculpture competition in Fort Myers Beach. Hope you can see the detail.

Borrowed a Schwin bike from a neighbor. It's very retro -- those of you in my age bracket remember them fondly. Florida is very, very flat so a fat-wheeled Schwin works great. Hardly any effort to bike from here to the grocery store, Target, and Dollar Store which are ...
