      ... the oars. Luck continued in our favor as the boat landed right side up. The motor shut itself off and evidently never got dunked. And whatever the crunching sound was nothing about the dinghy seems broken. Unfortunately our prescription eyeglasses didn’t float and were never found.

      ... we headed just a ways north to El Capitan State Beach Park. The Park had turned its group camping parking lot into and rv camp. The parking lot was situated on the bluff over the beach, so that when I looked out the window at the foot of our bed, I was looking out over the ocean, nice touch.

      ... a walk along the foreshore and Stearns Wharf. We had a full moon and the evening was beautiful so we decided to eat at a restaurant at the wharf, ordering fish and chps, since we were in the right place for eating fish tonight.
