... friends of ours from Honolulu who have "swallowed the anchor". When we first met them they were cruising aboard "Swan Song", their 57' Roughwater trawler in Venezuela. The reason we met them is that they were planning to move to Hawaii, Swan Song and all. Long story short, we helped them make the move and settle into Hawaii. After five years of living on Swan Song in ...

Thank god for FaceTime and iMessage. But still. Technology can only go so far... I'm overrrrrr it. Long distance relationships suckkkk.

Especially when he's doing all this interesting stuff and I'm stuck behind a computer five days out of the week. This is where Dan says: "soon honey. Soon".

Frustrated.

... the morning in Florida. We were treated to a pizza party. Then we were given our room assignments and told about room checks, lights out, and when to wake up and go downstairs for breakfast. Boy were we exhausted! All of the delegates tried to call home or make contact with home before they went to bed. Many delegates had to use Ms. Nita's phone because they used up their battery life on the phone. We were happy to get to our rooms and get to bed. By the way our rooms are very ...

For those of you who were not aware, Pat and I are on a 3 week holiday in Florida. Visiting friends and a 5 day cruise out of Tampa are the highlights of this trip.

So welcome aboard and enjoy!

The first day of this trip was a long one.

Up at 5 AM to pack the car within an inch of its life. You know all those necessities that they don't have in Florida. My golf clubs started out in the front passenger seat ...

Has it already? Could distinct heat signatures tell us exactly who is in a home? And when. Couldn’t advertising then focus on who and when it advertised to and at? Dedicate its bandwidth to those buying?

    Off Season Getaway

Despite the noise of renovations and occasional shower, Sanibel Harbour Marriott was a relaxing getaway during the off season. Poolside service was steady and the food was delicious. The lady in the shop was extremely friendly and helpful.

Day two was spent at the spa getting a massage and facial. The spa and fitness center was fully equipped and clean. The massage hit the spot and I felt rejuvenated after the facial.

During an afternoon rain shower, I enjoyed a couple of cocktails and a salad at Charley's Bar. The server was friendly and visited the table at the right intervals.

The executive suite was spacious and comfortable. There was a minibar in the room. The only thing that could have been improved was to have Zephyrhills water in it. It was served with room service but a different brand was in the room.

All staff from the valet to the front desk to the concierge were friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here.
