    Off Season Getaway

Despite the noise of renovations and occasional shower, Sanibel Harbour Marriott was a relaxing getaway during the off season. Poolside service was steady and the food was delicious. The lady in the shop was extremely friendly and helpful.

Day two was spent at the spa getting a massage and facial. The spa and fitness center was fully equipped and clean. The massage hit the spot and I felt rejuvenated after the facial.

During an afternoon rain shower, I enjoyed a couple of cocktails and a salad at Charley's Bar. The server was friendly and visited the table at the right intervals.

The executive suite was spacious and comfortable. There was a minibar in the room. The only thing that could have been improved was to have Zephyrhills water in it. It was served with room service but a different brand was in the room.

All staff from the valet to the front desk to the concierge were friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here.

... Hopefully use up enough mouthwash and peanut butter before we get on a plane to Malta. I can't live up to Lynn's blog standard. I don't promise pix of every meal we consume. However, I will do my best to showcase the wine!!! And David, of course. No not my husband, the marble statue in Florence!!!

... watched some weather channel prior to leaving so I knew what the day had in store, the first hour still in Georgia was sunny and nice but dark clouds were looming on the horizon, literally. We were on HWY 19 SB, and the rain started, lightly, just past Perry as we left the mainland and went out onto the pan handle.

The systems were in bands so the rain was never really heavy, and it was intermittent. Once again, ...

... in and straight away our guide called over one of the Dolphins and he was right there in front of us. We got to hold them, tickle and rub them, and then swim out and hold their fins. We all fed them fish as we stood there in the water mesmerised by their beauty and smiley faces. They did tricks for us and splashed us and at the end we got to hold them again and said our goodbyes. It was all well worth the four years wait just to see the kids faces and ...

... the street and faces the river. It was very beautiful. The gardens and landscape were outstanding. The home had many openings where you could get a good look at the inside, but you cannot walk through the house. Not a problem because you can see the room for a lot of different angles by walking around the house. There is also a guest house. Next door is the Ford home. Not ...
