Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort & Spa

After a great nights sleep in the palace that was out hotel room we woke to a hot day. Lots of stormy looking clouds in the distance but not too bad where we were. Sam, dad and mum went for a dip in the pool at the back of our building. Water really lovely and warm and pool empty. Back to the room to shower change and pack....again! Then off to …

Saturday 8 March was a free day. Some of us had a $5 breakfast in the RV club house. Then many of the group drove over to Sanibel Island to go shelling or just walk on the beach. It was a beautiful sunny day and not too hot. Ray and I stopped at the Lighthouse Beach and walked up to the Sanibel Lighthouse and did some shelling along the ...

Palm Island Resort lies at the north end of the island, and at the southern end is Little Gasparilla. In between you will find Don Pedro Island and the Don Pedro State Park.

Despite the noise of renovations and occasional shower, Sanibel Harbour Marriott was a relaxing getaway during the off season. Poolside service was steady and the food was delicious. The lady in the shop was extremely friendly and helpful.
Day two was spent at the spa getting a massage and facial. The spa and fitness center was fully equipped and clean. The massage hit the spot and I felt rejuvenated after the facial.
During an afternoon rain shower, I enjoyed a couple of cocktails and a salad at Charley's Bar. The server was friendly and visited the table at the right intervals.
The executive suite was spacious and comfortable. There was a minibar in the room. The only thing that could have been improved was to have Zephyrhills water in it. It was served with room service but a different brand was in the room.
All staff from the valet to the front desk to the concierge were friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here.
