Totally Out of This World

What a fab hotel, totally out of this world. One of the best hotels i have ever stayed in. From the moment you step out of the taxi untill the moment you get back in them you are treated like royalty. Would def recommend and we will def be coming bakc here again .... also recommend the Cliff Restaurant for food another 5* place. The spa was relaxing the staff could not do enough to help ..... Cant wait to come back again. They even let you borrow 2 DVD's a day from the library.
Well worth a visit.

My children and I recently returned from Sandy Lane Hotel - an absolutely wonderful family vacation experience! The rooms are the finest in the Caribbean, the food was varied and fresh every day, the beach service ranged from scented, cold towels to cocktails served whenever you wished, and the children's activities kept my kids happy and interested for seven days straight. The Treehouse club offered swimming with the sea turtles, golfing, poolside lunch and play every day. They even will keep the children for dinner, if you like. The Spa is incredible - immaculate and offering a spectrum of fantastic treatments. I have been to Sandy Lane in winter and it is definitely more serene, but Spring Break was lively and fun! I highly recommend this amazing place and will return next year (if not sooner!!).
Best Resort Anywhere!

This is property is the definition of a six star resort. We stayed there last year and unfortunately for us, now compare all others against it, and no one comes close. The spa is the finest we have ever visited...the food is great...the service is fantastic and the rooms and d?cor is stunning. The only drawback is this place isn't sitting in Tahiti. Barbados is a take it or leave it Island to visit, however if your in this part of the world, don't miss the chance to live like royalty. Oh, did I mention that we are in the business (milliken Creek Inn, Napa, CA) and we live to find faults with hotels...but never found one here. We loved this place.

St Valentine's Day Disaster! I'm writing this fresh from the worst St Valentine's evening experience of my life to date! Picture the scene ... we arrive, expectant, anticipating the best dining on the island.
We'd booked a table from London 6 weeks in advance. The foyer - stunning, elegant; the views over the ocean - breathtakingly romantic; our pre-dinner drinks hideously late (35 minutes). Never mind - we're prepared to forgive one little glitch. We're serenaded and given a red rose ... but no table. We waited. Still no table. An hour later ....still no table... (I did contemplate eating the red rose at this point). Finally, after 1 hour and 20 minutes the table was ready. We finished our meal in time for the last dance. Our evening was utterly spoiled. We won't be going back.

Sandy Lane is the most beautiful resort we've ever been. the whole place is sublime. we've stayed at some of the finest hotels in the world, and this is tops. the rooms, the grounds, the pool, the staff - all simply magnificent. Sandy Lane is worth every penny - and then some. Thank you Sandy Lane!

After being incredibly disappointed by our first hotel (The House -- avoid at all costs!) in Barbados we were lucky enough to get a room at Sandy Lane for the remainder of our vacation. INCREDIBLE! The resort, the rooms, the amenities were all spectacular. There are no finer rooms in the Caribbean if not the world. The resort is absolutely beautiful .
. . the beach, the pool, the grounds, everything is really first class.
The service was good although sometimes inconsistent, but I have found that to be the general rule in the Caribbean. Overall, while expensive, this is truly one of the world's finest resorts and we will return.

This had to be the most incredible place I have ever visited. We went for our honeymoon in May and we cannot wait to get back for our first anniversary. It was like a dream! The service was undescribable as it was the best anywhere. Everyone treated you like family and addressed you by name, whether you met them previously or not. The rooms were so gorgeous and luxurious we felt totally pampered. The pool and beach were breathtaking and absolutely immaculate. The food was some of the best on the island (and that carribean buffet on Tuesday nites are to die for!) There is just too much to name; the spa, the luxury taxi service, the airport greeting & departure; all perfect. It is expensive but worth every penny to have a trip to remember. I want to thank everyone at Sandy lane for the memories of a lifetime!
The Best Hotel Ever

I find myself analyzing different resorts and hotels when traveling. My entire stay at Sandy Lane I looked for any imperfection whether it be with service or the construction of the hotel. I could not find ANY! This is truly one place where alot of thought was actually used when designing. Cost was not an object for the owners.

Sandy Lane is the type of place that makes you feel like you have died and truly gone to heaven. The amenities are fabulous, the staff lovely and the bedrooms are stunning. I celebrated my wedding anniversary there with my husband and I would recommend it for any occasion.
International luxury
from njtravel06
An incredible resort where their ultimate goal is to pamper and serve you in luxurious surroundings. The amenities are far too numerous to mention. Nice touches abound starting with your arrival where we were handed a cool, wet cloth and an icy juice cocktail. They greeted us by name as we stepped from the cab and then escorted us to our rooms - where "check-in" occurred. That was only the beginning. This is truly paradise. A romantic, relaxing international experience. My husband and I went here for my fortieth birthday - this is where everyone should spend it.
