Jamaicans are without doubt the friendliest people we have met on this trip. So many times people just came up and shook your hands and just wanted to chat. There were never any hassles, we never felt threatened, and most conversations ended with them asking if we wanted a taxi, bangles ...

Pool bars seemed to be quite busy.
The wedding Gazebo is in a beautiful spot, just off the expansive 7 mile Beach and in a Palmed area. Very nice.

Yesterday was typically lovely, with a trip into Negril (for postcards and a quick look at the famous 7 mile beach) then back here for an awesome massage, before watching sunset from a private hot-tub. An average Friday, I guess ...
I spent almost a week in Negril, a long stretch of beaches along the western tip of Jamaica. Very popular with tourists. I walked the beach several times and I've been annoyed by the "farmers" and the like on a regular basis. They are sometimes aggressive. Better to walk along the road than the beach at night to/from the restaurant for obvious reasons. Nice sunsets.
Negril, Jamaica gratien... a hundred other plants ranging from ferns to Jamaican apple trees. The tour lasted two hours and we met a couple from the UK who talked with us during much of the hike. We ended our tour near the sports complex, so we and the other couple ordered fruit smoothies at the sports bar.
