    ... The dogs were picked up at 8:00AM and went on their merry way. We left to pick up two of Judy's friends before heading to the pick-up point at a local hotel.     We had just finished for about ten minutes when we heard a very loud "bang"! Since Pat did not lose control of the RV, we knew it had to be a back tire which had blown. We drove slower and exited at the very next off-ramp. A couple of truckers helped Pat change the left outside (there are two on the back on each side) back tire.

    We then drove back to Columbia to find a place to have a late lunch. We did a search on BBQ places and the name Smokin' Chicks came up. The GPS took us down through the University of Missouri campus. A very large campus! We then arrived at the Smokin’ Chicks.     ... pull thrus. There is a some traffic noise from highway 63 running north of town, but quiet otherwise. They are saying they are booked full for the weekend since they have graduation ceremonies at the University of Missouri.

    So far, there are no weather watches or warnings in the area. Hope it stays that way.
