On Monday we went to San Diego Zoo. We had both been looking forward to this since we got here. It definitely did not disappoint. Kirsty had looked up all the shows and attractions so we had an itinerary so we didn't miss anything. We walked up to the zoo and got there nice and early. First thing was the tour bus which gave us some background and let us see where everything was. The place is massive. We soon see that we will not make each show because of the time it takes ...

... lunch, we headed for the pool on the sixth floor roof. We stayed till 10pm.

Off to bed, we had settled in to San Diego perfectly. We have got into full traveling flow now and each day becomes easier than the last. I think the boys are enjoying the swimming late at night also.

A great day yet again. Something feels right about San Diego. As far as big cities go,this has been very calming. Tomorrow we head for San Diego ...

... dolphins, and had 3 different Grey Whale encounters. A couple of cool facts about Grey Whales that we learned:

      • Grey Whales do not sleep like humans do. They go into a short state of sleep by shutting down just half of their brain, while staying awake enough to surface to breath.
      • The only natural predator of Grey Whales is the ...
