... diverse range of styles; blending rap, metal, funk, jazz, salsa, reggae and world music with politically conscious lyrics in both English and Spanish. They were a really tight band and even included a cover of Amy Winehouse's "You Know That I'm No Good" in what was one of the best live performances I've seen in a long time.
We're now in the last week of term, so on Saturday I'll be flying to Cancun to spend two weeks exploring the Yucatan Peninsula. Hasta luego cabrones!

... to the Explorations Café and a grande mocha! Mmmmmm, coffeeeeee! I cannot wait. It comes at a premium, but is faster than going back for the travel mug. And Michael is at the gym already? How does he do it?
Out on deck six, the lower promenade, my mobile phone searches for a signal as I try to revive myself with the extra hot concoction. It is a bright, beautiful day once again, the sun is already high, and so is the humidity. In the distance ...
Finally, the reward for living through all of the storm. A beautiful morning - and finally feeling better.
Got off the Ship briefly before we left (total of 20 minutes) to take a few pictures.
Back onboard by 1pm.
At 4pm Classic Disco T-dance (delayed due to our extended stay in PV).
... Stuff you wouldn't understand. And he says it isn't any of my business anyway, and that people like me are the reason Canada is considered the class clown of the western world, always trying to be funny just to get attention. He says that's one of the main reasons the USA hasn't adopted us yet and "turned us into a real, live State". The other reasons being Quebec, obviously, and the obnoxious way we plaster our "gay little flower flag" all over our ...

Some were REALLY superb little helpers, and soon (date as yet not firm) Lupita will be inviting them to her home for a little luncheon and thanks. Lo de Marcos, Mexico lacasa... making juices and drinks. It was a cool experience but a long day. I didn´t expect to get paid but it was good to give Gav and his wife Susan something back for their hospitality. The only mistake I made all day was when my mate Ricardo asked for a lemonade and I gave him a Sprite. Lemonade here is fresh lemons but he took it ok. That evening one of the girls who I worked with invited me around for dinner for shrimp cerviche (so good!!!!). I met ...
Sayulita, Mexico bradskey69Our family just arrived home from a two-week vacation in Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico. We found a great condo online through www.discovernayarit.com and we were all so pleased! The people we were connected with through the site were very nice and more than willing to help us out with anything we needed. We spent nearly every day on the quiet beaches, either surfing or exploring the area. It is so much different ...
Sayulita, Mexico eswenso... I caught the bus back from Paradise Village for 8 pesos. Late afternoon Merilynn felt like going for a walk so we walked down the beach for a ways and back. We're due home at 1:30 AM Feb 28 Edmonton time. We arrived Toronto on time but sat on the ...
Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico gclarke_99Hola! We're off to the Playa, but I'll really try to catch up on the journal this evening. Enjoy the photos. Adios, Tracey Mucho Gusto! It is great to finally be here. The thought of not having to pack up our clothes and hop in the Burb for another 12 hour drive is quite appealing! One thing I forgot to mention, before jumping into Puerto Vallarta, was that the drive from Durango into Mazatlan was just crazy. It began with a military check stop just outside Durango where the older ...
