... the sun that didn't want to. Lisa and I chose outdoor seats in a shady spot on the back of the boat, put up our feet, slipped on our headphones and enjoyed the 2.5 hour boat ride. The sea was reasonably calm and the boat didn't rock about very much at all. This was good news for Lisa and I who have both had bad experiences with rocky boats and sea sickness. It was so calm that we didn't even bother taking our motion sickness pills and still enjoyed the relaxing ride.

... an hour and half, there would come a high-pitched persistant noise from the trees, the first evening i thought a fire alarm had been set off, but it turned out to be a type of insect in the surrounding jungle. Thankfully it would subside, and all would become peaceful again, the crickets would chirp me to sleep and i would wake to the sound of birdsong and loud Australians shouting to eachother.

... dinner it was back to the train station where we met some great people, ate some yummy green mango and rice cakes and waited and waited and waited. The train was late... and by the time we got to our Air conditioned 3 1/2 by 8 foot cell we were exhausted. Bri had had it by this point and didn't want to think any further than a cold beer and sleep. I slept very good - but was quite cold - I didn't find the control vents until I went to get up the next morning.

... this woman tried to sell us more bus tickets to go somewhere else we weren't exactly polite. She tried to tell us how horrid this place was that we should go now then when we asked her to tell us where the hotel was she started telling us they were full, but then apparently it smelt at that hotel so we shouldn't want to stay there and i'm pretty sure there was another reason we should go there.The funnies thing though was she was telling us we were pronouncing it wrong! ... its a sad thing to put down and im actually editing this entry. it was originally ready to go with 7 points about 20 minutes ago before my time ran out on this PC. then it all hung so i lost my last few minutes and it logged me out before id a chance to log out of MSN/gmail etc. i tried to explain to 5 people at reception that i needed them to log me back in (i wasnt paying) so that i could just log out of all the things and they all huddled around the PC trying to re ...
