... re now into rainy season here and have had our fair share of tropical tempests, but most days there are 'tan-topping' opportunities. And it's humid, suffocatingly so (which makes cardio training interesting). Most notably though, the nights are drawing in. Whilst we're in the tropics we are still north of the equator, so like the UK it's started getting dark earlier. I can't help getting nostalgic about Halloween, Guy Fawkes Night and the prospect of ...

So that a couple of days later we can get a plane to Malaysia, then another plane to Abu Dhabi, followed by a plane to London and finally a train home. Not a journey we are particularly looking forward to. It seems crazy that we can't just go directly to Malaysia to pick up the plane which is fairly close to where we are now. Instead ...

Yep you read the title right. I am writing an entire blog entry about bed linen. It's quite fascinating! Back in May after weeks and weeks of work I compiled a long list of our bedding requirements. The plan was to have king size duvets on the queen and king beds because the Queen size duvets were too small for queen beds. We have 2 single beds on site and it was agreed they'd have queen size duvets on them as singles again were too small. The idea was to ...
