It's because their 100 coin is like $1, their 1,000 bill is like $10, and their 10,000 is like $100. But I've gotten used to using Korean Won. 50,000 Won is like $50 in the states. So when I went to withdraw 50,000 from my credit card, thinking that was 50,000 Won/$50, I was actually withdrawing $500! It didn't dawn on me the mistake I made ...
