... just drop the dog off because she had to take her car to a mechanic. She drove us to the "dog park" (aka soccer field). It was pretty hot and there was no shade there. Kids and dog were wilting quickly. We came on back to the Navy Lodge and went out back under the trees. We hung out for about 2 hours. When Autumn had to go, we decided to go to the pool.

On a much brighter note, I'm really looking forward to having some quality time with my family and best friends when I come home. It's so close I can see the end. I'm really really blessed to have amazing people to come home to at the end of an adventurous and eye opening summer. :)

Anyway, I'm a light sleeper and don't usually sleep well in public settings, but I was able to sleep quite a bit on the bus, even if it wasn't high quality sleep. The bus stopped about every two hours at a highway rest stop to let people use the bathroom (there wasn't a restroom on the bus) and probably smoke.
