    ... s heart over the years, and I am so glad they found each other. Kai had a very rough, likely abused, start in life. So, Heidi thought he needed a strong name. Kai translates from Burmese as 'strong' or 'unbreakable'. Interestingly enough, translated from Cornish, it actually means 'dog'. In Swahili, Kai means 'loveable'.     Today was our last full day at the beach. Jana and I enjoyed some quality pool time.

    There were some of the largest waves I've seen at this beach at any time I've been there. The crazy part was, there wasn't a storm coming in or anything - just big waves.

    Later that day, we got to watch the first Capitals pre-season game thanks to NHL Network.

    The past few days have been relaxed and we've had really great weather overall. I've gotten down to the pool almost everyday which has been nice. Of course it would be nicer if I could go down with my family, but that will be next year's adventure :)

    Andrew is really taking to sitting on his own. As you can see in the pictures he needs less and less support and can sit on his own ...
