      We ontbijten lekker bij Sabai en Barry regels daarna twee scooters. Hij gaat samen. te Nina vast een stuk rijden en wat boodschappen doen. Daarna gaan we met zijn allen op de scooter richting Haad Rin. Barry op een grote scooter met Nina en Robin en Lola en ik op een kleine versie.       ... at a credit card swipe fuel pump. Of course when Des put the stand down for the bike, the engine cut out. Before he put fuel in (we still had quarter of a tank) he had a go at starting the bike with the electric start. No go. We both tried, no luck. We were stranded just off the highway. We parked the bike, took some photos of the location on my phone, and waited for a taxi on the 6 lane highway.

      ... intrigue me and besides the Mardis Gras's I've been to, there is no where else I have been where people are so out there and overtly themselves in all of their alternative expression. The beach where we are staying is about half an hour east of Pattaya and it is absolutely crawling with Russians though I'm not sure for how much longer. All of the signs in the restaurants and shops that cater to tourists are in Russian. It is so weird as I have never been anywhere like this before. ...
