    ... was the small market square where a pleasant continental style cafe served typical coffee, beer and sandwiches. It was not the menu or the rather nice surroundings which pleased me so much, it was the friendliness, charm and manner of the staff and other three or four customers.     Burger King at the airport - yes to a Whopper! Then aboard our flight. Had great sunset views with the volcano: El Teide sillhouetted against the back drop and the clouds falling away beneath us. A perfect end to a perfect trip. Our first together, but hopefully not our last.

    Didn't do all that much today so only a short post. Went for a walk in the morning and brought pastries for breakfast ... we had a huge pain au raison and a chocolate croissant!     ... come from Sea World in Florida and this was also the location of the training that the staff had had too. Anthony was happy to put up with my fears and accompanied me towards the back of the arena, well away from the splash zone, which based on the size of a killer whale was about a dozen rows at the front!
