... apparently being so tired from being pregnant was helpful as I would easily fall asleep as soon as I went to bed, whereas John would toss and turn for hours. :)

Now back to life at home again. No plans for any upcoming trips unfortunately :( I feel like "now what am I suppose to look forward to?" I have been reminded that I have a new baby to look forward to ;) oh. right. 98 more days... not that I am counting or anything ;)

... the peak of the upright wheel, and you have a sure-fire recipe for nausea. I still don't think I had recovered when we left the park a couple hours later. (I know it sounds like I didn't have any fun at Dreamworld and was a champion coward, but there were other rides that were quite enjoyable and of a very tolerable thrill factor, among other entertaining attractions. So one day me and my boyfriend Brent decided we wanted to go to South America. I don't remember why we decided on South America, or when. By the way Brent said this is not a life journey so I shouldn't be dramatic about it. But he is just as excited about it as me mmkay. Anyway as I was saying, yes South America is a pretty random spot to pick for our first big trip, but Brent and me have never been very conventional. Plus we have never been anywhere, so why not ...

... top it was nothing but clouds everywhere. I couldn't see farther than 10 meters in front of me. It was a fun climb though, about 1/4 of the way down we did get some good views as we were out of the clouds. By the time we reached the bottom we were both exausted and our feet hurt, but we had conquered Mt. Warning. We left for the coast once again. No more rainforests for a while, its a little too wild.

... a tad sleazy. Soon we headed up to the club where we would get our 2nd free drink, we walked into an empty club with air con on full blast it was freezing, again we went straight for the wine. We all sat down drank lots of wine and had a good old yarn, laughing particuly at the waiters who were holding the trays of drink about 3ft above their heads when no one was in there!! Jess falls asleep shortly after 930pm. 1130pm - TJ still hasn't fallen asleep because he is a night owl and some eastern european sounding guy decides its time to give his girlfriend a call right out side of our open window because it was hot. ... home. We went on a few day trips - Wet and Wild is an awesome water park just up the coast, full of adrenaline pumping slides and rides. Very odd and VERY Australian to be walking around a theme park in a bikini...It was a fab day, and a great deal of it was trying to get as high as possible when coming out of 'The Funnell'. Another day was spent in the well known Surfer's Paradise - where you can shop till you drop and then go for a swim ...

I went to the next one, nope, not YHA, then the next, and finally (the fourth hostel in the line) I found the YHA. There was a family ahead of me not having luck convincing the front desk that they had reservations. Thank goodness I booked something already because they had no vacancies tonight! Yikes!
