... island. Out tour took us to a number of villages on the island and also visited a resort for a refreshment stop of tropical fruits and a demonstration of coconut husking. The people in Port Denarau were lovely, including the lady who accepted my last $7.00 Australian dollars for a bracelet that should have cost $10. A very hot day today, but we are not complaining. We kayaked to another part of the island, pulled up our kayaks and went snorkelling. There were so many different types of fish, and lots of starfish. It was amazing! ...

... so a tad on the expensive side.

We caught the Westbus back to the Wyndham and relaxed for the rest of the arvo with a few Fijian Premium beers. I cooked a chook in the oven and Malani put together the gravy; it was a good combination and tasted awesome; sitting out overlooking the Nadi Bay vista whilst chomping down on roasted chook with gravy and a cold beer.

Jack and I had a dip in the pool and then into the spa – back to the room for a shower ...
