Royal Caribbean Resort San Pedro

Great location just out of town, Clean, your own Room with no Common Walls, When you first drive up it kinda looks like barracks, but inside very nice. They had golf carts to rent on site.

We spent 6 days in these cabanas. The rooms were very clean and well set up. The pool was very nice, just off the beach, with a beautiful view and we enjoyed our time each day cooling off in the water and relaxing on the lounge chairs.(Swimming in the sea is not the best in this area.)

We rented a golf cart from our hosts to tour the island as well as bicycles.Both experiences were a lot of fun. They also booked us on snorkeling trips and catamaran day trips. Everything was relaxed and easy. They were willing to accommodate our needs and helpful in giving information. Both staff and management were friendly and welcoming.

We appreciated that it was a more quiet area as it is not in the hub of all the activity, yet it was easy to get to the restaurants and shops.

We hope to go back again sometime.

Beautiful beach, New clean cabins. Friendly & helpful staff. Be prepared to deal with no restaurant on site, no laundry facility, two miles to town for shopping, groceries and all other necessities.

Great, new bungalows very close to the beach. Each Bungalow has a living area, kitchenette, bedroom area and private bath. No air conditioning but the ceiling fans and open windows do the trick. The pool is open and they were building a bar and cafe during my visit. It is next door to the Victoria House, so you can go to their restaurant and bar, both excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful and can book tours. It is about a 30 minute walk along the beach to the main part of San Pedro or a 10 min taxi ride.

This resort was a very nice surprise. Although economically priced, our room was tremendous. The rooms include cable TV, microwave, and refrigerator. They are very spacious. I was impressed by the very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is quite a ways from town, but in the end I was happy for the seclusion. It was very quiet and peaceful at this location. I would highly recommend this resort to fellow travelers.

Recently my family and I had a chance to visit the Royal Caribbean Resort on the Island of Ambergris Caye, Belize. What a wonderful place! They are a newly opened hotel so everything is brand new and beautiful. The staff and management are eager to please and the rooms are cute and comfortable. Our room has a kitchenette that was really useful. I don't go on vacation to cook, but I do appreciate a place to reheat leftovers and munch on some cereal in the morning. The kids enjoyed all the snorkeling and other excursions that are easily scheduled from the front desk. My husband and I had a great thrill taking the family to "Shark Alley" where the kids were able to actually touch the sharks and feed them! Basically, fun was had by all

I was really surprised! Brand spankin'new. Right on the beach and reasonably priced. Easy access to all activities. Management on the ball and a welcoming vibe by all the employees.

As a seasoned traveler I've come to look for a few things that can make or break a trip and I can honestly say that the staff really made this a week to remember...from the moment we arrived they went out of his way to make us feel comfortable.Check in was quick and easy. and within 10 minutes of arriving I was on the beach and soaking up the sun the resort manager Yoram was extremely helpful both with arranging side trips, diving and tours and he directed us to all the best places to eat.The cabannas were extremely clean and well designed with a small kitchenette(a big plus).The trip was a good mix of both adventure and relaxation I highly recommend the mayan lamani tour. The diving and snorkeling was fantastic.the best part of the trip was meeting so many interesting and friendly people and making many new friends.

Looking through our photos of our superb trip to Royal Caribbean Resort on Ambergris evoked so many wonderful memories that I just had to let people know what an unforgettable experience Charl and myself had in the nine days we spent at Royal Caribbean Resort village.

We loved the village design of the resort and the comfort of the cabanas; they are so spacious. We really found that there was everything (and more) anyone might need during a vacation on a Caribbean island. The kitchenette was so convenient. It was great not having to go out for every meal. Also, the lovely and well situated swimming pool contributed to the village-feel of the resort. It's a fantastic size and makes a perfect meeting place for all who are looking for fun and surely for those who just wanted to relax and unwind. The resort is so peaceful being very open and spread out with exquisite coral sand and palm tree studded beaches - authentic island-style! Of course we loved the privacy.

It was very exciting to be RCR village's very first guests prior to its official opening. Not only did we (as South Africans) have the rare opportunity of a dream holiday on a Caribbean island, but we were also privileged to have a sneak glimpse at what was going on behind the scenes in terms of planning, organizing and getting a beautiful resort such as this on the go and running.

We've just returned from Belize and a wonderful stay at the newly opened Royal Caribbean Resort, a series of beachfront cabanas approximately 1.5 miles south of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye, Belize.

The owner/manager, Yoram, couldn't have been more accomodating. He arranged our dive trips, made helpful recommendations and, in general, was always available for any questions or problems we had.

The cabanas themselves are spacious, with kitchenettes, seating area, TV, and ceiling fans. Best of all, they are brand new!

Because of the location outside of town, we recommend renting a bike ("Joe's" in town is great) or a golf cart. There's lots of great dining to be had in San Pedro, so you won't want to limit yourself to the handful of restaurants south of town. You may also want to purchase some groceries (Rich's or Marina's seemed to have better prices than the big markets) to keep in your room since there is no restaurant onsite. For a special dinner, try Victoria House right next door.

The beach in front of the hotel is clean and quiet. Do bring some bug spray for the no-see-ums, though! The Victoria House dock is a great place to meet dive, snorkel or other excursion boats. All of the operators seem to be more than willing to pick up there, or you can work directly with the folks at V.H.

All in all, a great vacation on a beautiful island at a great hotel!
