Beautifully stunning views of SMA from the rooftop bar. Drinks are pricey, but the view was worth it.

... But yeah, so it happened that I spent the most important night in Mexican culture in a club in Guanajuato.

After we left the club around 4am we went to have something to eat, and afterwards took taxis again to head home. I went home with new friends and we were just chilling in some hotel room, when suddenly more and more people started pouring in around 5am and… I am still not sure what happened. Someone told someone we were just chilling, ...

Xx - Foreign Embassies in Mexico visit San Miguel.

... San Miguel - it is a good way to see the city.. I have thought of renting an all terrain vehicles and roaring around the city myself.. I sort of like the idea and concept of roaring around.. But I am afraid that I might end up killing myself if I did that, I do have to remember my age and limitations. And I am too young to die...
Note: although it is not common, it is not uncommon, to see burrows, donkeys, mules and horses on the streets of San ...

He said the cooperation between federal forces and the local communities, including self-defense members, is essential for the government to recover lost trust in the ...

Moved into our new, more permanent rental house. Much nicer - open and airy and bright. There are a number of small stores and a great "fruteria" with all fresh produce just down the road. The neighborhood is quieter and there are a few more ex-pats around, though still a Mexican neighborhood which is great. Because of the number of expats living here I had the preconception that many Mexicans in San Miguel would speak English. Surprisingly few do and I'm pleased that we're ...

Today, we took a tour of Cańada de la Virgen, the pyramid site outside of San Miguel de Allende. Whew.. cold, overcast day! We took the kids out of school this morning for an Elliott (or should I say Griswald) family field trip, our second pyramid tour in Mexico. It took us about 25 minutes to drive our rental to this archaeological site. It was much less impressive than our visit to Teotihuacan (near Mexico City), but still a worthwhile educational experience. ...
