Hunting for ski jumps

Today was snowing all day, but just lightly so we went out for a ski together in the morning. We decided not to go to vail as we thought it would be crowded being the weekend. Harvey and jazzy LOVE going over little jumps (and big ones for jazz) so the morning was spent with Harvey saying "Dad, can you find dome more jumps?" I have attached a photo of Harvey doing a jump. Everyone skied well ...

... than just pointing his skis straight town the hill and getting out of control. Harvey end I stuck yo green slopes again today. Copper is the perfect mountain for beginners. There are so many long wide open greens for us to do... We have probably only tried a quarter of them so far and even in the weekend there are still plenty of open spaces and doesn't feel crowded ...

... one first....was exhilarating but terrifying as well! Of course because I am heavier when I go with jazzy we swung around so I was basically going down backwards the whole way....jazzy and I both screamed. ... on the green runs now. Jjazzy has made me promise that I will try a blue run before we leave in 1.5 weeks from now. Jazzy is really good skier now... When we are doing the green runs she darts off to the Side of the runs for the steeper parts and does little jumps too. Tonight we went out to a little local Mexican restaurant with Jesse and Jackson.

... green runs higher than the Quicksilver, so we went up that one and Zac started to look pretty good down the longer runs.

I went to the top of Peak 9 with a couple from St Louis, and the wife reckoned this was about the most miserable conditions she had skied in. Sitting on the chairlift in strong wind, and no visibility, with icicles forming on my whiskers, I could see why she said that. But the snow was great, and I had a great run back down ...
