An early start to the day to make the 10.50am flight to Denver. Its not busy this morning so no delays getting to the gate. I had a dispute with Alamo, the rental car company when i dropped the car off. i had booked the car for 10 days, and they tried to charge me for 11. Lucky for me the lady that checked me in loved my accent and was only to happy to refund the overcharge.
The flight to Denver was very bumpy for the last 30 minutes due to a huge storm heading across the state.
Had a mixed day at Loveland. Lindsay and I drove to Loveland early and got on the slopes by 10:30 or so. Kirk, Chris and Vienne didn't get there until noon.
- Weather was great
- Ski conditions were great
- Lindsay really elevated her confidence with skiing
- We skied all the blues runs
... suburban (upgrade for no particular reason!) - driver was very friendly and we stopped at the Genesee Candy Land for a bathroom break and to buy some yummy homemade fudge. The best line of the conversation was when the boarder dude in the back seat said that he and his friends did algorithms for fun!! Kelly stayed to ski a few more days, and I headed back to Austin. Took an Uber from ABIA to the house - very easy. Such a nice trip overall - thanks dear!!
Well, I'm very slow getting this one up! A) because I was too exhausted after skiing all day; and B) because our Internet connection was C R A P! Having said that, that was the only problem we had at Breckenridge. It is the most beautiful little Colorado town with the most amazing ski slopes you could ever wish for.
