Bimini Bay has recently changed management companies. I heard a lot of complaints regarding the new management by owners this past trip. We haven't much in the complaint category. The new beach area is beautiful. Great job by the resort!!!

Yachting capital of the world( so the sign proclaimed) though in a country that has a world series of baseball with only US teams i kinda doubt it.
We anchored in lake silvia. A small shallow anchorage whoose greatest asset was dinghy access to plenty of pubs. Tony and Liza took us to the best bar in the world. Which was a pub overlooking the water. It was ok but pricey and ...

It was so good to have hot food placed in front of us after a night crossing!  With a full tummy, I had a good sleep for a few hours. Then, we went to the beach! The waves were great fun.    So we got our weather window. It was a pretty bumpy ride. But, we made it! We're in the Bahamas and the crews of Exhale, Simunye and Inspiration are ...

At Bimini the ship had to anchor out at sea and guests had to be transported via tender to shore. This was an experience as the seas were rough; this was Vera's least favorite part of the day. When we made it to shore we rented a golf cart from "Sue & Joy's Variety and Golf Cart Rentals".

      ... now!

We got word from one of the employees that Osama had been killed. With that information, we decided to go to the other Marina on South Bimini so that we could get the news on TV. Another couple went with us. They are from Texas and have been sailing since January 23rd. They are from Seabrook, TX and headed to Chub Cay also. Should have taken pictures of ...

... of cool to see the drastic change from the course line leading up to the stream and when we had actually entered into it - the offset was obviously very noticeable.

With Pepe's help, it was a very easy day. The sea state was ideal for the crossing with very minimal and manageable waves. And seeing as Pepe was steering, we were able to have just one person on deck to watch for traffic and keep an eye on our course. Naps were had by all ...
