... shopping holiday. It's a great place for families and couples to have an easy break. I do think 5 days was long enough though. When I look at the photos there wasn't much culture or life changing experiences but the objectives were met. We're very relaxed, we've shopped till we've dropped, we surfed and sailed Waikiki and I've finally stopped coughing - must have been those sneaky mai tais. But right now, it's time to board the plane and begin the next adventure in Ha Wa ...

Today we had a huge buffet breakfast at the hotel where Ella matched Andrew bite for bite ( which is no mean feat) then off to the Paradise pool. This pool was the kids favourite as it had water slides. Here the kids spent about 5 hrs frolicking before we changed to go and see the lantern floating at Moana Beach. ...

... As a quick side note, another thing we love about Hawaii is all the radio stations play Hawaiian music, not all the latest pop songs like everywhere else, here you tune in and there's no mistaking where you are and you cant help do the hula dance along to them!
