Pick up at airport went smooth, Hotel is great, we have nineteenth floor ocean view. Got up early and got coffees to take to Waikiki beach. Tide was coming in. Nice morning, shorts, sandals T-shirt! Gotta love it. Not missing the snow we left behind. Took in Iolani Palace, the only Royal palace on USA. A national heritage site. Beautiful restoration. Had to wear booties over shoes to do tour. At the unit while we called in for lunch there were kite surfers, when the wind caught their kite they must have taken off for about 20 metres in the air. Probably could have been caught in a wind and made it all the way to Australia....
