... nicht so einfach. Ich wurde nämlich als Frühstücksköchin eingestellt, habe aber keine Ahnung wie man kanadischen Frühstück zubereitet und ich soll dort auch noch andere anleiten. Am 13. Dezember soll ich anfangen. Ich hoffe das ich bis dahin etwas anderes gefunden habe.

Nun warten wir darauf dass wir einen Anruf vom Hotel bekommen, wenn alles nicht klappt dann bleiben wir in Vancouver und suchen uns hier was.

... Develop a "curriculum" of home schooling for 3 kids - check. Spend a small fortune on vaccinations - check. Scour the master bathroom and then tape the door shut and deny any further access - check. Take a nice family photo and have it made into a Christmas card - sorry, not this year.

So things are falling into place as expected. I expect my next update will be once we are underway.

We all decided that today we would not ski. It is so early in the season and we were tired from the past two days, so we had a big walk on some of the trails around the village and in general just enjoyed being together as a family. The time is so precious when family members live on opposite sides of the continent.

... haben wir spontan beschlossen dass wir am 11. oktober whistler fahren! Wir haben uns dann gleich ein auto gemietet und sind um 11 uhr los .. Dann ging es los .. Stau, Stau, Stau, Stau :( Es war ein unfall und die Kanadier haben das nicht ganz so im griff mit dem umleiten usw.
Im Stau stehen ist aber gar nicht so schlimm wenn man zu viert ist!

Nuestra conductora, Misha, me advirtió que tuviera cuidado con las "joyas" de Andy cuando el trineo saltara, ya que tenía que sentarme entre sus piernas sin moverme, pues si sacaba los brazos para parar una caída me los podría romper... ... and decided to pop into Greenwood, where Ron & Faith, a nice couple, run a riding ranch. Unfortunately, they don't do trails rides anymore, they're selling their farm (dirt cheap!!! temptation.... haha), so we pressed on. We made it as far as Osoyoos and settled in for the night. Very popular tourist destination, there is a beautiful lake and great winds, attracts the younger set, for windsurfing and wakeboarding.
