... Cars movie with all the stores, Luigis tyre place, the diner, the Witches Hat motel rooms. Looked great. And the fast pass system is invaluable. For example, we arrived at the park at 9am today (Friday). Lined up for a fast pass ticket and it let us come back at between 12 and 1 for priority queueing. It meant we got on the ride in about 15 mins while everyone else without fastpass was waiting 100 mins to get on the ride. 100 MINUTES!!! We ...

... from LA with several people along our trip advising us not to bother spending too much time there, we stayed four nights and had such a great time. We visited Universal Studios, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, The Observatory, Santa Monica, Muscle beach & Venice beach. Not all of the these places were quite what I expected, Hollywood was far from being pristine and full of celebs, instead full of tat shops and wanna be wrappers trying to push "FREE" copies of their ...

We made it back to the car without being completely drenched! Next we drove along Venice/Muscle Beach for a look. Our last stop was in the city center to ...

... LA, I blend into the Thursday night rush hour, surrounded by more cars than I've seen during my entire trip so far. Before long, Oscar sprints straight onto Venice Beach and into the Pacific Ocean.

13 days, 12 states, 3.926 miles (6.318 km) and 231 gallons (874 liters) of fuel spent, it has been a hell of a ride. I now look forward to living and working in LA until the spring.

Thank you for reading along with me.

    ... up to the counter...and we're through...2 hours later...

We find our luggage off the conveyor belt and go through the doors to find the direction to our next flight. Transit luggage is to be put to the side so we ask is this for flights with Air Canada? The helpful person who is loading the luggage confirms it then another woman comes along, looks at our boarding passes and scolds us for taking our sweet time and don't we know that we have a flight to catch...?? ...
