    ... to the public by these giants of business. There is no charge to get into the Getty Centre and it is only $20 to visit the Huntington. We paid $25 for a two hour drive around Hollywood. No comparison in value.

    i wonder what cultural legacies our giants of business will leave to Australia. I can just see it now " The Gina Reinhart Mining Centre" and the "James Packer Casino Memorial". Won't that be something to look forward to.

    ... downtown LA and the famous sign. Apparently the hippies used to hang out and party up there, back in the day. It used to say "Hollywoodland" and was originally a real estate advertisement.

I had dinner in LA no less too with some lovely people I met in Oz..... it never fails to surprise me who I have the pleasure of meeting back up with on this trip and what wonderful people I have spent some great "once in a lifetime" days with.
