    ... We have a quick brekkie of cereal and walk over to Disneyland. It's only. 8.30 but the footpaths are already crowded.

    We meet Boogs, the kids and Uncle and Aunty at Sleeping Beauty castle and get to the first order of business - get me some ears. The kids happily come along to help me choose ultimately a pair of sparkly Minnie ears. The kids spot Pluto outside and Hinesh goes with them while I get the adults.

    We arrived in Los Angelas on the Amtrak Sunset Ltd train at 5:00 a.m. This is a wonderful train! It was very early. We had about an hour to get ourselves and our stuff together before detraining. We were the only long distance train in the station but the commuter trains were running and boy were there a lot of them!

    ... and it was awesome, just as good as the Percy's all remember from 10 years ago. They had Julie Andrews voice as the narrator for the show telling a story which was kewl and tinker bell was flying around behind the castle on a rope. It was a great way to finish an awesome day at Disneyland and we were at the park for over 12 hours!! By the time we were home we were all stuffed and basically just rolled into bed! :) ...

    ... theme of Grinch and Who-ville so there were lots of employees all done up as Who's. The makeup was incredible. We expected to see the make-up around the nose, but they had artfully smoothed it into the mouth and cheekbones far away from the nose so even close up it was perfect!
