          ... The original painting was sent to Italy where it was transferred to 12 million pieces of venetian glass, returned to LA and reassembled on the wall. Fortunately, it was not one tile at a time. The tiles were pre-assembled on 12" squares of paper which were subsequently mounted on the wall. It is a sight to see.

          ... night rush hour traffic which did not disappoint and was rubbish. We did arrive in time for the prematch entertainment and to get a first round of drinks and snacks in. The atmosphere was great and we joined in like natives-eating and drinking our way through a ton of stuff that is way off the healthy eating scale - singing and chanting along to the team song and egging the Dodgers on.
