In the afternoon we visited the famous Shaolin Temple which is in the Songshan Mountain. It is the most reputable and longest standing temple in China and was the birthplace of Shaolin King Fu. In the temple we visited the main places and the Pagoda Forest. We spent the first part of today visiting the Chinese Natural History museum here in Zhengzhou. Four of the families made the trip, while the fifth stayed at the hotel to take it easy. It was about a 25-minute bus ride, and the museum was air-conditioned. We saw some interesting Chinese culture there, with many items dating back to the era around 500 A.D. Zackery played the role of camera man while we were at the museum, and he did a great job. Both he and Zayne seemed ...

My only day of not feeling too great intestinally was today after that meal thanks to B.K. - go figure. By the time we got back, and Zayne took a nap, it was about 3:30 and we didn't feel up to an outdoor park visit. That actually worked out well, as our CCAI guides (Vivian and Tina) dropped by to let us know that ...

... because Zayne likes to eat with chopsticks, and also because he insisted on feeding me using the soup spoon.

After that, what i believe will become the SOP kicked in, which is to say back to the hotel for a bath, stroller ride up and down our 21st floor hallway, and me and Zack heading to the pool and hot tub for some relaxation. Tomorrow is a "free day", so not sure what we will get into. -- M, J, Z, & z

... dinner he played in the room for about 30 min., then it was nap time, per the schedule they told us. He slept soundly for about 1.5 hours, and woke up happy. He loves the stroller, and insists on taking rides up and down the hallway, sometimes riding, sometimes pushing it. He can even open the door by himself, which we didn't expect. We just did room service for dinner, and he ate like a champ, downing Congee (sort ...
