... are just disgusting. Besides the smell, it is completely unhygienic as the students now don't even have water to wash their hands. A water truck showed up today and a line of students were made to transport huge buckets of waters to all the bathrooms in order to flush them properly. There are 10 floors in our building with about 6 bathrooms on each floor, and at least 5-6 toilets in each. In order to curb the smell and actually dispose of the waste properly it will most likely ...

... believe it is a form of worshipping the devil. We are keeping it light though, pumpkin carving, Halloween party for the grade 10s with games and of course a costume contest! This year even the teachers are allowed to dress up. I have all of the pieces for my costume, I just need to put it together, today (Thursday) is going to be busy! I have been able to explore a little more of the area I am living in, I have found a couple more larger parks which I would like to actually ...

Last night I made Pad Thai, it was delicious, in fact I think it is the best sauce I have ever made. It was so tasty -nice and spicy! I also made my oat cakes, I need to spend more time figuring out the settings on the toaster oven, I nearly burnt my oat cakes! They are pretty yummy though, this time I put ...

I got lost for 3 hours in the streets of zhengzhou. Ended up back at my hotel at 2am. I asked 4 different cab drivers (some of the cab drivers while I was on the street of the hotel) where to go, none of them knew what I was saying. Good exercise I guess?

Here are some pictures I took on this journey..I should of taken more but wanted to reserve battery on my phone if i happened to find some wireless somewhere.

It's popular in China to get elaborate photo shoots done before your wedding. There was 5 different settings with different outfits for each setting. It took 10.5 hours for the whole thing to be completed. Basically, hell on earth!

Haha, still glad we did it though!
