A necessary stop!
Not a lot to talk about here. We arrived in Mersing after a 6 hour bus journey from Kuala Lumpur. We booked our boat tickets and set off to find a hotel or hostel. We settled on the Golden City Hotel. Very Basic but also very cheap! Mersing itself, there is next to nothing exciting to see so we went for some food and headed back to the hotel and had an early night!
