There is also a good supermarket nearby with really nice owners and a hostel/bar place called Paddy's bamboo guesthouse, where all the backpackers hang out and you can get food or drinks. ... view of the torrential downpour and got to see just how bad the drainage systems were as the roads were practically flooding. After waiting for as long as we could we decided to brave the rain and head back to our cosy bungalow, we got drenched but that’s all in the fun of it.
The next morning we woke up to the sound of rain so we decided to lie in bed, watch films and read our books all afternoon whilst watching the monsoon through our window. Later on ...

Walking back we went to this bar for a couple of drinks, only to find out the owner is from OZ, so being cheeky we asked about the tv and if we could watch six nations, being oz how could he say no, "tv channel 107, the remote behind the bar, just come and go as you please, if anyone trys to change the channel tell them where to go" So thats my night sorted!!!
