We spent a couple of hours sorting our laundry and a few other things before relaxing out in the garden for an hour in the lovely sunshine (it is a little colder in the air now but it's still hot in the sun). It was the most perfect day for it, beautifully blue sky and sun shining. So after the plane had had time to warm up and we had carefully climbed aboard, it was time for take off. ... kangaroos and got to cuddle a Koala. Katelyn and Maddie did an encounter with a wombat. Liv did an encounter with an echidna. Ellie got to hold an alligator. The kids also got to touch a Bermese python and an alligator.

... persevered with the wet wood and we finally had a fire roaring to cook our dinner and to sit around that night. We believe a fire is a necessary luxury when camping and they are getting very hard to find these days because authorities are imposing so many restrictions on campers and camping areas. We always take our own cut wood.
All ended with a beautiful sunset to pack up next day and homeward bound.
... We paid a visit to the Macadamia Nutworks. It was late in the day so the production line had shutdown for the day. Still, there was a lot of reading and cooking movies to check out. Oh yes, there was the nut shop too.
Headed back to Noosa. The Boathouse Sunset Bar on the Noosa River was our destination. The reason was to have happy hour there and to watch the sun set. Another good sunset. We're so lucky.
