We go for a late afternoon lunch in a way too expensive super luxurious resort on the south coast. If we ever have too much money we might come back here but 175€/night during low season and 300€/night during ...

... here for an hour and then headed to The Viewpoint. This was a very steep incline of stairs to the top but the view was worth it. At the very top you looked down into a sea green lake called MaeKoh Island. The colour of this lake was amazing. Swimming in the ocean under the ledge of a limestone rock was just as good. Our last stop was heading back to the pier where we were bussed ...

We stayed in a lovely resort up on a hill, from where we had a good view of the fireworks. The staff of our hotel put a lot ...

Today we had a good day trip out in a small group of 6. Our mode of transport was an air conditioned mini bus which is pretty much what all the tours are on! Either that or an open top jeep which we would of found way too hot! The only downfall was that the suspension had gone and as the Thai culture is 'don't fix it till it's completely fallen off' we ended up with lumps on our head like ...

      Goodbye Koh Samui

... goodbye party. We made some crazy banana heads (with funky colors and funny faces) as a treat for school. They loved it. She felt very special. In the end it was harder to say goodbye than we could have imagined.
We met some really nice, funny, sweet and good hearted people. Her teacher, Tania, even helped us after school (in her free time) and was so involved with Djuna. Yes we feel blessed that Djuna could have her as a teacher and that ...
