      ... up making several visits to the friendly doctor's clinic in order to get various antibiotics in order to kill Flobair (as he was christened). I was ordered not to walk anywhere, to do nothing. I was basically stuck in my hostel! Not the ideal way to spend my time in Thailand.       ... many similar stories from the Thai people that we spoke to. Their wages are so low and they work 12 - 14 hour days just to survive. We ended up giving Lek a good tip to keep for herself to help out with her daughter. She was so overwhelmed and thanked and hugged us all.
