    ... directory so we identified the species as follows: red and white striped fish; stone fish (this one looked like a stone); giraffe fish (with giraffe spots); black fish; sea cucumber. Although the waters were not nearly as clear as on Koh Tao the previous day, it was still simply amazing how much we could see right off the beach. After about an hour of snorking we decided to head to the pool and lounge around and drinking mai tais (we were on a tropical vacation after all!).

    Today is Nadine's Birthday ( you've delighted her with all the well wishes!) and we're celebrating at NapaSai on the island of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand in the South China Sea.
