Although the waters were not nearly as clear as on Koh Tao the previous day, it was still simply amazing how much we could see right off the beach. After about an hour of snorking we decided to head to the pool and lounge around and drinking mai tais (we were on a tropical vacation after all!).
Today is Nadine's Birthday ( you've delighted her with all the well wishes!) and we're celebrating at NapaSai on the island of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand in the South China Sea. Koh Samui is about the size of Mathas Vinyad, with mountains and rainforest in the middle and beautiful beaches around! We found a white beach next to a small bar and there was none else there after about 30mins drive, we and a quick drink sat on the deck chairs which were on the beach, Jane went on Facebook while I watched the sea rising and falling while the water occasionally had enough gumption to make it all the way to my feet.
