... with him in the long 5 hour trip from Albany to Margaret River, I got asking about him ex. Turns out he's still pretty much hung up on her, and I'm assuming I'm just a bit of a distraction - a rebound type of thing. She apparently has been seeing someone else since she got to Australia (yes, she lives in aus - Pemberton the very town we drove through today on our way here! I was literally just waiting for him to pull up and go find her, leaving me miles from civilisation and all ...

... stop at Cafe Brasilia In Pemberton (where we were also treated to the sight of 3 very good sets of workmen's legs as they ate their pies and pastries - men's shorts in Oz are very short, like Aussie rules football).

It was like something out of the Hitchcock movie. We then continued onto Harvey and ...

... salami as well. A short stop at the Silk Road farm to have a look at the sleeping moths in their cocoons. I could easily do another day in the region to try a few more wineries. In summer I could do more as the beaches are lovely and I would be keen to paddle up Margaret River from the ocean. I would plan mid week rather than a weekend as today has been much busier in the sampling rooms. Tomorrow we head to Denmark for 2 nights. This is the beginning of our journey east towards home and the ...

On the way to Margaret River today we stopped off at Busselton and went for a walk along the longest jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. It was 1.8 kms in length.

We were here 20 years ago and they have refurbished it since then, so a lot safer to walk on, however, guess who fell over, yes me. There is an observatory at the end of the jetty which would have been nice to ...
