... is where the rock that grows from the top and bottom of the cave joins together forming a column, the water then erodes the underneath and it breaks away, leaving a column hanging in the air with a big gap underneath - very cool to see! Whilst you are in the cave, they also turn off all the lighting and show you what it would have been like for the first people that discovered the cave. We had to check out this morning so used the free resort Kayaks for a lovely paddle. We saw Straw Necked Ibis and a very cute diving duck with a lovely fan tail.

... the food was fantastic with BYO wine, a great evening. Friday we left Margaret River and travelled back to Perth calling in at various coastal areas, the beaches are stunning white sands and turquoise water. We stopped off at Basselton Beach and had a walk along the 1.8km jetty and the view of the beach on the way back was spectacular. I do love the Aussie beaches.
