    Successful nap time in the RV back at the campsite so we can run the A/C. It is still ridiculously hot inside the van but perhaps we are all getting a little more used to it. Couldn't survive in this heat without a hook up, so no more boon docking until it cools down a little. Rich and Emma sort the next leg of the trip.     ... up in that after. I got my hair done in Supercuts. The girl there said Rancho Mirage (the suburb we stayed in) is mainly full of retirees and vacationers! No wonder it's so quiet. Pretty much our whole time in the USA has been hanging out with OAPs. Workers only get 2 weeks holiday per year so it seems like its only when they retire that they get to go anywhere!     ... conditions in Mexico - ********! Yes, I'm sure there are areas of this country (like ANY other including Canada) you want to avoid especially at night but we have driven over seven thousand five hundred kilometres through much of mainland Mexico and all of the Baja and never felt threatened even once.
