... was here visiting from paris where she's studying (thanks ashley, i will definitely mention you in another context soon, i promise!). they also turned out to be jewish. you can meet jews in the most remote places. we visited 5 wineries and 1 smelly cheese place on the tour and tried about 8 wines at each place. everyone became an expert by the end, commenting on the fruitiness or dryness or how heavy or light it was. and a myth about wine tasting is that you spit out the wine ...

We booked a tour round a chocolate factory in Adelaide first - this made Lorna very happy. We also booked some bikes for when we get to the Hunter Valley so we can cycle round some of the vineyards! That should be interesting. We then went back for a swim in the park pool before having dinner in the van.
