    ... and now cascades down through this aperture. For some reason it doesn't get a full mention in the books and because it isn't in the main gaggle of lookouts it gets far fewer visitors, especially at 7:00 in the morning when we arrived.     ... There had been massive gusts of wind and one had ripped through the tent and ripped the canvas. After about 10 mins of sitting there at 5.45 with thunder and lightening and lashing rain our spirits at zero, Rory started to vomit.     ... and the Guy Fawkes National Park. It was so green and lush even though we are late in the year. Stopped for a great photo opportunity at the road tunnel and also saw lots of cattle roaming free as well as wild herds of brumbies. This was a great drive - over 200 ks but really nice.

    ... quiet a lot of logs around us to chop up. Simon came down the next day with a wheelbarrow of wood for us, and we used to go and collect a lot more each down down by the river, also with what Phil, Branden and Ayden chopped, we had plenty to have fires every night, and some mornings.
