As the birds fly south for the winter so do Darcy and I. Just in time to avoid the "polar vortex" coming in from Canada later this week. We made our way to our winter home base in Naples, Florida. For some of this years stops the temperature will be dropping dramatically! Tuesday's Forecast: Sheridan, Wyoming- High 12°, Low -6° snow Helena, Montana- High 12°, Low 0° Glacier National Park, MT- High 7°, Low ...

Yesterday, we moved to a campground just north of Naples, FL.

A strong cold front came through starting the night before we left Key West, so we had pretty strong winds blowing at us most of the way up.

This morning we woke up to temps in the upper 40's and a little breeze so the wind chill was cold especially after all the warm weather we have had.

In this case, I scanned repeatedly for that opening because we were going a good strong clip. No opening - sharp, fast turn and we felt the high of air ...

... the morning in Florida. We were treated to a pizza party. Then we were given our room assignments and told about room checks, lights out, and when to wake up and go downstairs for breakfast. Boy were we exhausted! All of the delegates tried to call home or make contact with home before they went to bed. Many delegates had to use Ms. Nita's phone because they used up their battery life on the phone. We were happy to get to our rooms and get to bed. By the way our rooms are very ...

The land of the affluenza afflicted

Before we left we had purchased a cruise in Naples, kind of insuring that we would drive down there.

We had never been so we thought it would "force" us to go.

We are glad we did, but Englewood is more our style to be sure.

The Pure Naples cruise was fine but we mostly saw homes of the affluenza afflicted.

One more story of how a rich family paid 25 million for a place just to tear it down and build a new one and we ...
