... point which meant we could see miles of turquoise ocean with swirls of bright white sand. It was beautiful - a beach unlike anything I've ever seen before. Walking on the sand was like walking on talcon powder. The sand is 90% silica and is the 2nd best beach in the world (the sand has even been used for nasa telescopes). Moving on too quickly

Whitsunday Island, Day 2
... I finally saw what I thought was a dolphins tale and after jumping up and down shouting "Omg a dolphin!!" I was told it was a sea cow called a Dugong which apparently is very very rare. I still want to see a dolphin up close but Im hoping I will see them in New Zealand.
