Upon greeting you will be offered vintage champagne after an incredibly smooth arrival process onto the island, where you don't even have to worry about your bags! When arriving at Qualia through the Jurassic park gates, your can sense the already exemplify experience is only going to get better. The organic food, lovely beachside, serene setting, gorgeous rooms, never-ending service, free yoga and activities, the list goes on and on.
The gourmet package was the best idea for a luxury island resort I've ever had the fortune of trying. With the package all food for breakfast and dinner was covered and, best of all, you could dine anywhere on the island. That's not to say you even need to leave the resort, as both their Pebble Beach and Long Pavilion restaurants are superb. The sommelier is outstanding at the long pavilion and I highly recommend the full tasting menu with matching wine.
Your own golf buggy to explore the island was a great touch. Even the most basic rooms are absolutely amazing with your own speaker system to plug into, along with a large TV with all the latest films on offer. The bed is exceptionally comfy and you will find a nice treat on it every night. The free activities include all water sports and fitness classes. We also booked a sensational helicopter and seaplane tour of the Great Barrier Reef. This resort is the nicest resort I've ever been to and I cannot recommend it enough. If I ever have the opportunity to return to this wonderful resort, I will do so without a moments hesitation.

Teas been had and now we are trying to stay awake so we can go to bed at a decent hour and sleep right through to the morning. Going to have a look at days out tomorrow morning sure we'll find something fun to do ...
... Turkey and Equador so it was the coral that I found enchanting. I'd never seen such a huge amount and such different kinds - there was coral that was bright blue! We managed about 20 minutes to half an hour snorkelling each which in a way was more lovely than hours of it - in some ways you appreciate things more I think when travelling with a little person as often your activity time is limited so you make the absolute most of that brief time. The one thing though is ...
... add to this gloomy outlook the tide was out and the ‘beach’ was just a mess of rocky/coral!! Regrettably Dingo Beach was even worse, so no swim for doodle this time around, but on the way back to the park we stopped at the local doughnut shop and bought him a chocolate dinosaur donought!!
We dropped him back to the van and headed back into town for lunch. This time it was a burger bar called Little Vegas. First up were some yumbo ...
... and make our way to shed bar - it had to be before 7pm in order to get our drink. Whilst we were getting ready we got a phone call from the travel shop, informing us that our boat had in fact been moved back a day. We were quite happy about that as we would rather there was more people on the boat to make it more fun! So once we were ready, we walked up and down the main road trying to find shed bar, and eventually gave up and asked back ...
