... eons away and now we are here. We had a couple of shots of kirsch in the evening to celebrate. As he said, he never thought he would be in China for his 64th!! Today I checked out for the day due to internal working problems and Mike has just returned having seen the panda breeding station. Baby ones in incubators and 2 year olds. Sounds absolutely wonderful. We never thought he should take the camera so no photos I'm afraid. Up to Xian tomorrow ...

boat to reach the dock. We stopped here because there is a famous temple here
that was built against a 164 foot tall rock during the Ming ...

The shrine was initially built in 223 CE. To avoid being consumed by all the tourists, we located a tea house. We all ordered different teas. Mine smelled really good before the water was poured in but in the end ...

... sites of Chong Qing. We didn't have much time here, but the streets were really lovely and not overly crowded. Crazily enough, there was a Walmart though....this did NOT excite me, it more surprised me that they had reached China already! It was an interesting shop in there with produce at our fingertips and the American Snickers bar plentifully available.

Enjoy Chong Qing for all it is - especially the famous Hot Pot. Worth every ...
