    Up this morning after a little mishap at 2.30am with an alarm and then a broken flower bowl. Out the balcony door and into the pool. Brekkie was nice.     ... certainly had some kick. The main shopping strip is geared for high end tourists with pricing similar to home but a great collection and there are a million eating establishments of course.

    ... was quite shallow and beautiful but then there was a sudden drop where the ocean became really deep. I think I spent about 45 minutes snorkelling round the area and really enjoyed it. Eventually we all got back on the boat and then we headed back to the mainland.     ... closer even though the taxi driver said they are harmless, that's not what I have heard.

    Had lunch at 3 Monkeys, beef Rendang, lovely but the Aussie beef was very tough. Parts of it were tender and the garnishing s were beautiful but 8 out of 10 because of the toughness.Such a lazy day, I bought postcards and decided it would be easier to hand them out when I get home.

    ... temperatures are too high. You can buy anything from vegetables and fruit to spices and teas. Our cooking teacher showed us all the different spices and vegetables that are used for traditional Indonesian and especially Balinese cuisine. We got to see, feel and smell all the ingredients we would later be cooking with.
