... Today we went to “Spotted Bay” (18m) and “Black Coral Wall” (14m). I wish I had an underwater camera!! At “Spotted Bay” we saw a nurse shark and we followed it to where it decided to sleep. It was a little intimidating at first but they, apparently, aren’t very dangerous. I think one of our group suggested that it was about 2m in length. Having already bought drinks in the bar, we were able to use their sun loungers on the beach. We did however buy more drinks, two for one Piņa Colada's made with overly generous servings of Roatan rum. Sitting back, drink in hand, it was fascinating just watching people - a group of maybe 20 were drinking in the sea, a lady dropped a friends tablet in water when trying to take a photo and a couple was teaching their Dobbermann puppy to swim.
... They were headed out to a dance club but that didn't really interest us so we stayed at the dock and had a few libations under the stars. We called it an early night again to try and give our bodies a chance to fight of this cold before the more physical activities start on the next leg of our journey including climbing volcanoes. After dinner, we decided we had better head to bed, since we need to be up at 5:00 to catch our flight back to Belize City, after which, we will take the water taxi over to Caye Caulker for the night. Roatan has been amazing, and we are all very sad to be leaving... but we know we can't complain too much since everyone else has to go back to work tomorrow.. sorry guys. ...

Our cabin at Chilli's was great. Chilli's is located next to a dive shop and across the street from a great local bar on the beach called Sundowners. They had a big screen TV outside in this nice area anyone could hang out in and we were able to catch some of the Olympics. We spent every ...
