... I went to reset the
alarm for a later time, to find we had left it in the other room. Matt called
the front desk again and they let him into the room. Upon returning to our
room, Matt realized he had forgotten the room key, and I had fallen asleep.
With the do not disturb sign on, the rooms doorbell doesn't sound, and matts
knocking fell on deaf ears, as there were two doors and a living room between
myself and the front entranceway. In only his ...
... in the right direction. As we were going though the rain really
started to kick in. the rain here when it starts, seems to never end.
Visibility was so bad, that we ended up missing our stop and had to get off
much further away then we had anticipated. Two local girls seemed to think we
only needed to walk about five minutes back to get to where we needed to be.
They were only off with there estimation by about 20 minutes… the rain by that
... is huge!!
Since this was off season, it was not too busy and we had no problem getting
into restaurants for dinner without making reservations.
The beach was disappointing for 2 reasons. One was the beach in front of the hotel was clean
and maintained but once past the resort, not so much-garbage, bottles, broken
glass littered the sand. It did not make walking the surf very enjoyable. The second reason was ...
... trip together. My leaving has become a frequent conversation between the two of us and I thought this might be a nice talisman of our adventure. Brace yourself though--it's pretty long and, well, film production is not a future career choice.
