... The other thing I dislike is the mosquitoes at night. They seem to be long range cruisers as well, as I was still getting bit at the helm even 10 NM offshore! Could they smell my blood that far away?

We saw only a few fishing boats and nets but very few ventured that far out, and all the major commercial traffic we saw stayed well into the shipping lane. Watching the sunrise to U2's 'I still haven't found, what I'm looking for' was a particularly surreal experience. We ...

The second meal, was Thai noodle soup (It has been too long my friend), and thai spring rolls. And for dessert, milk tea and chocolate ice cream. The total cost of all the food? Approximately 13 SGD. We headed straight to bed after all that food!

    ... comfortable with Singapore.
Our hotel location is great ( for what I know of Singapore) right in the heart orchard road, 2 buildings away from where S lived when she worked here a lifetime ago. I!m holding off further judgement of Singapore for now. My first day I felt a little uncomfortable, a little out of place, but we have a couple of more visits to work all that out. On to the beach, Manly NSW.

... and afternoon tea, which really well presented and with lots to eat. Raffles is a very impressive building. After Raffles we went on a boat trip along Singapore Waterways but unfortunately we had a thunderstorm the whole time we were on the water so the sightseeing wasn't great! Hope to see more ...

... which help to clean the air. Met up for supper in one of the multitude of food courts all over the city. That is on top of Little India and Chinatown.

After supper walked around the downtown area taking in the night life of this bustling metropolis. I noticed a couple of homes had live sized Terra Cotta figurines (from the Xian excavation), I am assuming they are not originals although the homes were luxurious.
