... in the 'tourist class' as the 4-sleeper cabins were all booked out. Our section was a massive room with hundreds of bunk beds in it and the air con was on full blast. We froze the entire night. It was a very interesting experience, but one that we do not wish to go through again! Needless to say, we were very happy to be on solid ground again. And that we had flights booked for the rest of our trips in the Philippines! Moral of the story: Listen to ...

... Next day was spent on the beach, doing the same stuff except frisbee as stupid dog broke it yesterday. Damm mut!! Relaxed all day, Mr Edward didn't show up, had a few beers during sunset and the evening. Linda is thinking about getting her yearly tattoo after a few 'Tinduay Ices' . battering humidity or the fact that a good three of the miles were
uphill and got a good idea of what will be in store for us in a few
weeks time. Erm, blisters and heatstroke. Luckily a good part of the
walk was through shady forest areas and with the friendly locals and

They are supposed to have a cone of territory surrounding their nest that you can swim out of to safety but this guy's cone seemed to go on forever. Maybe he didn't read the rules. We know that sharks and baracudas are to be avoided but Trigger fish seem to be a bigger threat in this ...

After what seems like an eternity, their hour long set finally ends and they take a bow and sit at an adjacent table while they catch their breath and discuss their affairs. They ask hesitantly if it’s OK that they join me for drinks out on the town. I shrug with a questioning look…”Of course, why would that not be OK?”…..”Because you pay.”….Right. Of course. Because ...
