Nice location on the water just past the main town of Sooke. Hotel is clean and modern, nice restaurant, pool, fitness center and spa.

It doesn't bother me at all on the bike but once off it can cause me to yelp out with a move of my upper body. Embarrassing when I'm in public at the bank, coffee shop etc. I've tried massaging it with a foam roller or a hard rubber ball pressed up against a wall but relief is temporary. So I contacted my good friend Dr Greg Siren for a poke or two with his ...

The name Kamloops is derived from the Shuswap language meaning 'meeting of the waters'. The town is located at the junction of the North and South Thompson rivers. I had decided that I wanted to get off at Oak Bay Village because ...

And now, there is a farewell party going on in Spinnaker. Our band is Next Stage, a group that sings covers. They are from the Philippines. It is so cool to be on a cruise ship because there are so many different cultures and countries represented. Over 60 ...

Breakfast in a lovely room at the hotel........ Very genteel! We walked around sightseeing, then caught a water taxi for a harbour tour.. Very interesting and enjoyable. The harbour is also an international air strip, with approx 100 planes a day arriving. Seaplanes, international and domestic. The only air strip in the world that has been shut due to a whale being on it. Fishermans wharf was very interesting with ...
