... vertigo as I found out as I had to knee shakingly make my way back down. By far the best part of the trip was getting to jump off the second floor of the boat a real adrenaline rush, accompanied by wee Lullah who was cheered as she leapt of into the depths below before bobbing back up to claps and thumbs up. Hamish made friends with the crew and was given full access to the captains deck, he was not only sailing the boat, but also snoozed most of the way back on the captains ...

Exploring the island

... boat and for 1500 baht (£30) for both of us - we have the boat and captain at our disposal to take us to two secluded islands across the bay, only accessible by small boat for the day! The snorkelling is reputed to be great as just off of both islands there is a shallow reef. Going to spend a couple of hours on each island exploring should be great (Robinson Caruso style) just hope he comes back for us ...

Koh Samui -

... all these really posh bungalows, thinking "wow, is he really staying here? On his own too?" Yes, he was. He saw me coming and he opened up his front door, to his pad he was staying for the next few nights. Private swimming pool, two bedrooms, kitchen, lounge, patio. Wowzers, he really must of paid an arm and leg for this place over the Christmas and New Year period. Jumping back on our mopeds we took the main road all the way around the island, stopping off at different points for ...

... in front if our resort and after that some strolling along the shops, café's and restaurants. 11th. Today the weather was slightly clouded but in fact real nice to lie on the beach and read. After that a cup of coffee and tea at a small café ...

I have a video of it and no word of a lie, you can see me half way through think "perhaps this was a bad idea". The beach ...

This resort is bang on Bangrak beach, which is at close proximity to the popular nightlife in Koh Samui (Chaweng beach) and the tourist attraction (Big Buddha) temple. I had three awesome nights at the beach which will always remain close to my heart.
