... we had arrived in town in time for the annual junior regional (read Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, etc.) competition. Luckily we were able to watch these races while swimming and diving off the dock in front of the "stands". Very cool!

Overall, Lake Bled was an excellent stop and we even stayed an extra day to linger a little more. We would gladly go back any ...

We really needed some clothes washed so we were going to do it at the hostel and then go and get some food and supplies for another ride ahead before we left. So we approached the counter at reception to enquire about washing and to check out. She said they would do it for us so we asked how long. She said ...

    To Slovenia

This morning I was surprised to wake up and only feel a little dehydrated, no hangover or headache! I did have to get up early though as I had a bit of packing to do! This morning we did the usual 'changing countries routine'. We packed all our gear (including the new heavy bottle of wine), had our breakfast and then got a cab to the bus station. It was another lovely day and so it was a bit weird ...
