    Great place for families.

Great place to stay, especially for families. A daily resort charge but there is a water park, golf, tennis, spa, and a ton of pools. The grandkids enjoyed the water park (you can get extra passes for guests) where we spent most of our days. We ate the buffet one evening at the Cascades, right in the water park which was OK. I was told they will be renovating next year to update the facility, which is good. My king suite was nicely appointed (towels are huge) but was showing its age. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Bad: Cleaning the room next door (vacuum) at 10:40 p.m.! Was told this was not unusual. Lots of hills to walk but they do offer shuttle service if needed. Parking is at a premium.

Our stay was great. A few pools/ hot tubs throughout the property to explore. Some hot tubs were not hot, they were pool water luke warm. The property is fun to walk around. HIlls and rocky.

With a long weekend looming, it was time to drive to Phoenix to visit the grandkids. Since they are now both in school, I like to take advantage of the long weekends to spend time with them.

Since my son had moved, I tried the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs. I like to stay somewhat near them and this sounded good. It was close by and during …

We were up at 6:00 AM and had breakfast. The disembarkation and transfer to the hotel were handled very well. All of the guests on our bus were on the same United flight to Newark. It was a beautiful 45 minute drive to the airport through lovely countryside. Check-in was very quick but once we got to the gate area, after clearing security twice, we had to wait for an ...

It's not the journey, it's the adventure. I'd had a short run in the morning then finally got out to walk round town a little. It's not that great a walk from the hostel, out at McDowell and 13th Avenue, but on a hot day I ended up overdoing it by walking 5 miles. Those ...

... base of the bath/shower. The old stuff, that artificial stuff, and the dripped water had swelled it up till it was very unsightly. So we both came home for a bit before heading to the movies. We go one or two times a week in Boston, but have not been to any out here. Mostly because we have seen all of them in Boston! Took a load of recyclables (plastics and cardboard) to the clubhouse and were on our way. But this day is not over yet and now we wish we had not headed to ...
