      Great place for families.

Great place to stay, especially for families. A daily resort charge but there is a water park, golf, tennis, spa, and a ton of pools. The grandkids enjoyed the water park (you can get extra passes for guests) where we spent most of our days. We ate the buffet one evening at the Cascades, right in the water park which was OK. I was told they will be renovating next year to update the facility, which is good. My king suite was nicely appointed (towels are huge) but was showing its age. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Bad: Cleaning the room next door (vacuum) at 10:40 p.m.! Was told this was not unusual. Lots of hills to walk but they do offer shuttle service if needed. Parking is at a premium.

Our stay was great. A few pools/ hot tubs throughout the property to explore. Some hot tubs were not hot, they were pool water luke warm. The property is fun to walk around. HIlls and rocky.

If I had thought the Forum in L.A. was challenging, this was double the challenge. Our last truck departed L.A. at 4am, and it was the first one we needed in Phoenix. With it being an 8 hour drive to Phoenix, we got off to a VERY late start. Obviously, we were time compressed, and with a very small ramp to load off of, it made for a challenging day.
