    ... off-season things had been sent for clearance. There were lots of bathing suits there but only a few one pieces and lots of two pieces that didn't go together. The orange flowered bottom that fit didn't go with the purple striped top that fit. So, I decided it wasn't going to happen and instead I ended up with a new dress. I found out at the sales till that I got a further 60% off of the mark-down price so ended up paying $16 for an originally $100 ...

    Good to be back home for a while!!

    ... we had sirloin steaks, twice baked potato for me and sweet tater for Phil, spinach for Phil and green beans for me. They were from the Santiam cannery in Stayton Oregon. This was where I had my first job, one that lasted several years for me while in high school and college. A couple of drinks and talk and suddenly it was 1:15 am! Off to bed!

    ... is that the opportunity to travel is never truly lost. I met many people on the road in their 40's, 50's, and even 60's on bigger and more elaborate trips than I was. There is always time to travel, I just need to retain the curiosity about unknown places and the energy to go out and explore them. I'm excited to see what new adventures future Logan has in store, I have high expectations.

    ... m so excited to get going but nervous about the food, culture shock, as well as meeting new people. I'm sure this will a great time! I start my journey at 6am from Sky Harbor to Chicago and then from there I keep going till Accra. Here we go!
